Enduimet Wildlife Management Area is a community-managed conservation area located between Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru, covering over 1,200 square kilometers. It was established to protect migratory wildlife corridors, empower local Maasai communities, and promote sustainable ecotourism.
The area forms a vital part of the greater Amboseli ecosystem, allowing free movement of elephants and other wildlife between Tanzania and Kenya. It is one of the few places in Tanzania where visitors can enjoy both wildlife and authentic Maasai cultural experiences in such close proximity.
