Excellent Safaris is a tourism company situated in Moshi Kilimanjaro region, due to the beauty of Kilimanjaro and Tanzania in general, the idea of fulfilling the essentials of tourism activities with excellence came in-hand, hence discovered the opportunities that come along. It is a tourism company that was established in 2015 after a great research regarding the tourist attractions and activities that are in Tanzania.
Excellent Safaris goes beyond our clients expectations in offering excellent services and safaris in Tanzania mainland and the Islands of Zanzibar.
You certainly can't climb Kilimanjaro in a day, but our day tour to this iconic, snow-capped mountain will give you an excellent taster of why Africa's highest peak is so popular. During the course of the day, we will follow the popular Marangu Route and walk as far as the first hut - the Mandara - where our picnic lunch will be taken. As other trekkers continue upwards, bound for the summit, we will make the descent again and return to Moshi or Arusha.
In the morning, we will collect you from your hotel in Arusha and take you to the Arusha National Park. The park has an incredible variety of fauna and flora, which cannot fail to impress. Hollywood also chose this region to film the movie "Hatari" in which Hardy Kruger starred alongside the legendary John Wayne. Your day trip will include a visit to the Ngurdoto Crater. Buffaloes, waterbucks, giraffes, warthogs, zebras and baboons can be seen all year round as well as many different bird species.
