🗓️ Day 1: Londorossi Gate to Mti Mkubwa Camp

  • Altitude: 2,100m to 2,650m

  • Hiking Time: 3–4 hours

  • Distance: 6 km

    Start with a scenic drive from Moshi to Londorossi Gate, complete registration, and hike through lush rainforest to Mti Mkubwa (Big Tree) Camp.

🗓️ Day 2: Mti Mkubwa to Shira 1 Camp

  • Altitude: 2,650m to 3,610m

  • Hiking Time: 5–6 hours

  • Distance: 8 km

    A steady climb leads through forest and into the moorland zone with stunning views of Shira Plateau.

  • Uhuru to Mweka Camp: 5,895m to 3,110m

    Begin your summit push at midnight. Reach Stella Point at sunrise and continue to Uhuru Peak – the highest point in Africa! Descend to Mweka Camp for your final overnight.

    Exit the park at Mweka Gate, receive your summit certificate, and return to Moshi.
